The Illinois Commerce Commission approved the results of Commonwealth Edison Company and Ameren Illinois Company’s Spring 2011 procurements of wholesale energy, capacity and RECs. Boston Pacific has served as the independent monitor for these procurements for the past four years.

Boston Pacific has developed multiple market assessments on behalf of DOE. Recently, the US DOE annnounced the closing of a $117 Million Loan Guarantee for Kahuku Wind Power Project as well as the closing of a $102 Million Loan Guarantee for the Record Hill wind project. Boston Pacific performed market assessments for both projects on behalf of the DOE.

Boston Pacific urges the Mississippi Public Service Commission to require cost caps if it moves forward on a 582 Megawatt IGCC plant in Kemper County. Boston Pacific was hired by the Commission to provide cost-benefit analysis on the Kemper County plant and compare Kemper to third-party sources.
